Among the many was a staff meeting that the supervisor chaired to brief us on the progress and his new responsibilities. The supervisor called all the members to the meeting and informed us of the new office changes. Although staff meetings are frequent at the organization, this meeting was different from others, as the department’s supervisor had initiated it. As an articulate and effective communicator, he briefed us on the new changes and duties. The supervisor was categorical in my case, establishing that despite the reassignment, he would be able to be my supervisor and help me complete the practicum experience with minimal
